Overview

As Test & Validation Design Leader at Valeo Martos you will drive robust design and validation for automotive electronics and lighting solutions. You will lead an international, cross-functional team to meet cost targets and project milestones, ensuring alignment with customer and internal requirements. The role sits at the intersection of design rules, engineering discipline processes, and technical validation, shaping products for top automakers.

You will partner with stakeholders to optimize resources and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity offers impact across product design, verification, and customer-facing engineering content.

Responsabilidades

Plan, monitor and control activities per Engineering discipline PD and CPM

Oversee robust design and validation within budget and targets

Review internal and customer requirements and specifications

Perform or support design calculations, simulations, coding, and acceptance tests

Apply standardization rules and justify deviations when needed

Prepare and conduct engineering discipline design reviews





Interface with customers for engineering content

Report to Product Technical Manager/Leader/Engineer and management

Manage detailed scheduling and budgeting for scope

Identify resource, equipment and investment needs

Break down activities to meet milestones

Track scope spending and ensure alignment with budget

Lead and develop contributing team members

Regularly review alignment between needs and availability

Be eligible for site-based role with international exposure

Requisitos principales Engineering degree

Experience in automotive technical testing

Knowledge of electrotechnics

Good English (B2-C1)

Result oriented with teamwork in an international environment

Professionalism and transparency

Geographical mobility (on-site position)
