Full Stack Software Engineer (Go/React)

Our client is an established enterprise software business operating at scale across multiple continents, with a mature and growing AI platform at the core of their product portfolio. Their solutions are deployed by large organisations across a range of industrial and service-driven sectors. They are investing heavily in the next generation of human-AI interaction and platform capability, and this role sits within that strategic programme of work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and build backend services for a telemetry platform using Go, PostgreSQL, and event-streaming technology (Kafka or Redpanda)
- Develop and maintain front-end features in React supporting entitlement management capabilities
- Support delivery of a wider entitlement management initiative tied to federal compliance requirements
- Work across databases spanning PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Collaborate closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams within a larger engineering organisation




- Contribute to backend and frontend delivery with flexibility to support adjacent workstreams within the wider team as priorities shift

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

- Strong hands-on backend development experience with Go
- Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design
- Experience with Kafka or a similar event-streaming technology (candidates with Kafka background should pick up Redpanda quickly)
- React experience for front-end development
- Proven experience delivering production systems, with the ability to hit the ground running and minimal onboarding support
- Comfortable operating within a large, structured engineering organisation

Desirable
- Direct experience with Redpanda
- Experience with MongoDB
- Familiarity with entitlement management, access control, or identity/authorisation domains
- Experience working within FedRAMP or similarly regulated federal compliance environments
