Role Description The Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) / Technology Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in Madrid, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position oversees global IT strategy, architecture, and governance, ensuring that technology initiatives align with Digicom Latam’s business objectives and regional growth plans.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading IT operations and infrastructure, managing cybersecurity and risk, and driving innovation in cloud, network, and workplace solutions. The role also involves collaborating with executive leadership and regional teams,



optimizing business processes through technology, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing IT budgets and performance. The CIO / Technology Director will mentor and develop high-performing IT teams, promote best practices, and ensure consistent service delivery across all Latin American markets.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, cloud solutions, and network infrastructure.
- Proven experience in IT Operations, with responsibility for service delivery, performance, security, and reliability.
- Demonstrated IT Management skills, including team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
- Expertise in IT Strategy and digital transformation, aligning technology roadmaps with business goals across multiple countries.
- Experience optimizing Business Processes through technology, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field); advanced degree or executive education is an advantage.
- Experience in regional or integral leadership roles, ideally within technology, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Fluency in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is highly beneficial.
