Overview In this role you will lead the global FX Forwards business within Santander CIB, defining growth strategy and driving revenue through smart balance sheet deployment. You will work with Trading, Sales, Treasury, Risk and XVA teams to optimize funding and leverage across geographies. You'll build and mentor high-performing international teams, strengthen market positioning in FX and STIR products, and uphold governance and regulatory standards.

Responsabilidades Define and execute the global growth strategy for FX Forwards

Drive revenue growth through balance sheet optimization and client expansion across geographies and segments

Lead commercial positioning of FX Forwards solutions across the franchise

Partner with Trading, Sales, Treasury, Risk and XVA teams to optimize funding, liquidity and capital usage





Strengthen the bank's market positioning in FX and STIR products

Develop and mentor global teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance standards

Requisitos principales Minimum 7–8 years in a tier-one banking institution

Extensive Global Markets experience with FX and STIR products

Proven track record managing and growing a global FX or Markets business

Experience leading international teams in complex and regulated environments

English fluent; Spanish and additional languages are a plus

Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines

Postgraduate qualification or MBA (Preferred)

Strong communication and stakeholder management

Leadership and team development

Strategic mindset with execution focus

Strong technical knowledge of FX and STIR products

Funding dynamics understanding

Balance sheet optimization, liquidity and capital awareness
