Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer in the Harness/Electrical/Electronics space, you will lead end-to-end harness manufacturing and integration, optimizing time and cost while meeting project requirements and standards. You collaborate with engineering domains to ensure feasible designs and industrialization. You will define manufacturing processes, bills of materials, and integration plans, while supporting bid planning and shopfloor execution.
The role emphasizes LEAN methods, modularization, and eco-efficiency in a space manufacturing setting. You will work across sites and with partners to deliver flight-relevant assemblies and campaigns.

Responsabilidades
Validate design feasibility with engineering during development to ensure industrial compatibility
Develop and maintain the Manufacturing Dossier with work instructions, data and test documents
Analyze and optimize manufacturing technologies and capabilities across Space Spain Plant and partners
Define Material & Process selections and ensure alignment with project execution
Define Manufacturing BOM and interface with Supply Chain for material availability
Contribute to bid phase through industrial planning, cost and schedule inputs
Provide inputs to industrial planning including line balance, process times, and lead times
Support production on breadboards, qualification and flight models, including on-site assistance
Create process definitions in concurrence with Engineering and Mechanical Design Office
Characterize work sequences, industrial parameters per Airbus OES guidelines, and identify tooling needs
Integrate quality inputs (Control Plan) and PFMEA considerations into production
Schedule delivery rates, optimize resources, and consider economic aspects
Lead work preparation and release manufacturing procedures into work orders
Foster feedback with Production & Quality teams and support CapEx planning when relevant
Develop and deploy capabilities for new products/processes and support qualification campaigns
Participate in SQCDP and shopfloor meetings, supporting recovery plans and scheduling
Support AIT activities and participate in on-site campaigns or supplier facilities as needed
Requisitos principales Aerospace electrical/electronic/system engineering background
Experience in electrical harness manufacturing or related space industry processes
3-5 years in production/manufacturing engineering with space product relevance
Ability to interpret documentation and produce clear instructions
Knowledge of ECSS, ESCC, MIL standards within aerospace
MS Office proficiency, especially Excel
Understanding of electrical engineering and systems
Desirable: CATIA Electrical Module, VBA/Google Apps Script programming, Windchill, SAP
Willingness to work offsite for defined periods on short notice
Strong teamwork, communication, planning, and adaptability team working process and quality driven high attention to detail
