Overview In this role you will lead a global PM team (60–70) across multiple hubs to deliver Medical Affairs and Market Access initiatives with consistent, high-quality outcomes. You'll establish a PM Center of Excellence, standardize methodologies, and drive efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making across geographies. You will partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities and enable rapid, compliant project delivery.

Responsabilidades

Lead and develop a global team of 40–50 PMs across Bogota, Hyderabad, and potentially Budapest and other BO locations, ensuring delivery excellence

Establish and run a Project Management Center of Excellence with standardized methodologies and best practices

Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches consistently across portfolios and regions

Ensure consistent delivery quality across geographies and therapeutic areas, including budget management and congress/events activities

Drive operational excellence and cost optimization via standardization and shared services models

Develop scalable PM frameworks adaptable to varying project sizes and diseases

Directly manage Team Leads, provide coaching, performance feedback, and capability-building

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and resource planning to meet evolving needs

Collaborate with Account Managers, Medical leads, HEVA, and Commercial teams to align PM capabilities with business priorities

Support budget management processes with financial discipline and transparency





Create and maintain PM tools, templates, and training; drive governance, KPIs, and reporting

Lead risk management, escalation handling, and issue resolution for project delivery

Identify opportunities for automation and digital enablement to enhance productivity

Stay aligned with Sanofi quality standards and regulatory requirements

Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the PM function within SBO Medical

Requisitos principales 8–10 years of PM experience in a multinational company (pharma/medical affairs/medical communications a plus)

Experience managing large, geographically distributed teams (30+ people)

Knowledge of Medical Affairs and Market Access activities (budget, congress/events, publication planning) is advantageous

Proven ability to build, scale, and lead centers of excellence or shared service functions

Experience managing multi-country teams and navigating diverse regulatory environments

Track record of delivering operational excellence and cost savings through standardization and process optimization

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Proficiency in PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and related tools

Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities in a global setting

Ability to drive change and continuous improvement across distributed teams

Analytical mindset with experience defining metrics, KPIs, governance

Collaborative leadership with coaching and performance management focus

Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MSc or scientific field preferred; PMP or equivalent certification highly preferred

Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage
