Overview In this role you will shape and execute Ferrer's public affairs strategy at a corporate level, focusing on rare diseases and high-value therapies. You will build trusted stakeholder relationships and align internal priorities with external policy opportunities to support patient access and sustainable healthcare. You'll work cross-functionally to influence policy, contribute to advocacy campaigns, and advise senior leadership on risks and opportunities.

This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape policy in Europe, the UK, and LATAM from Barcelona, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered innovation.

Responsabilidades

Lead the development and execution of Ferrer's corporate public and government affairs strategy in alignment with business priorities

Monitor and shape policy landscapes in rare diseases and high-value therapies across EU, UK, and LATAM

Identify opportunities to influence policy, regulation, and funding frameworks supporting access and sustainability

Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulatory bodies, trade associations, think tanks, and NGOs

Represent Ferrer in industry and policy forums to amplify our voice

Collaborate with PAGs, healthcare professionals, and ecosystem actors to co-create evidence-based policy positions

Coordinate with Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Medical Affairs, R&D;,



and Commercial teams to align internal and external policy goals

Support multistakeholder policy reports and advocacy campaigns reflecting patient-focused innovation

Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on public affairs risks and opportunities

Requisitos principales Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law, Life Sciences, Public Health or related field

Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Economics or similar is a plus

Minimum 7 years of experience in public/government affairs in pharmaceutical or healthcare sector

Proven track record in shaping policy and regulatory environments, ideally in rare diseases or high-value therapies

Deep understanding of EU and national healthcare policy frameworks; awareness of global issues

Strong knowledge of the rare disease ecosystem and access challenges

Experience in developing and executing public affairs strategies and stakeholder engagement plans

Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills

Ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable strategies

Strategic thinker with proactive, purpose-driven mindset

Influential leader, collaborative and agile, cross-cultural skills

Resilient, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning

Languages: Fluent English; Spanish and/or other European languages a plus

Willingness to travel as needed empathy humility curiosity
