Based at Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, within the Front Office Department in Madrid,



the Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest requests and ensuring a warm, personalized and efficient guest experience at all times. The role reports to the Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager.

As Receptionist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Welcome guests and complete check-in procedures efficiently and courteously.
Assign rooms according to guest preferences and ensure correct rates are charged.
Coordinate luggage delivery and issue room keys.
Process check-outs accurately, posting late charges and presenting final bills.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, foreign currency exchange and ensure balanced cashier floats.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries, both in person and by phone.
Resolve guest complaints with empathy and professionalism to ensure satisfaction.
