Role Description The L1 Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on providing first-level technical support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level teams when needed.

The L1 Engineer will monitor systems and service tickets, ensure timely resolution of incidents, and maintain accurate documentation of issues and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities also include installing and configuring end-user devices, supporting standard business applications,



and following established IT service management procedures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, clear communication with users, and adherence to security and compliance standards are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

- Foundational technical skills in hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
- Experience with help desk or IT support environments, including ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) practices.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for common enterprise applications, email clients, and collaboration tools.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for documenting incidents, solutions, and procedures accurately.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area and collaborate effectively with local and integral teams.
- Relevant education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are an advantage.
