Overview
As Maintenance & Instrumentation Engineer at AVL Iberica, you will lead maintenance planning and optimization for complex industrial and lab environments, ensuring equipment availability and reliability. You will coordinate internal and external resources, drive technical improvements, and act as a technical reference within the organization. You'll work on modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of facilities and processes.

Responsabilidades
Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, including calibrations and technical support for customers and users
Prioritize and organize maintenance tasks based on criticality, needs, and resources
Coordinate interventions by internal teams, suppliers, and external contractors
Ensure calibration and proper operation of instrumentation, data acquisition, and testing equipment
Analyze incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Lead technical improvements to boost availability, reliability, and efficiency
Oversee maintenance documentation, procedures, and intervention records
Manage technical relationships with customers, ensuring high service standards
Participate in modernization, automation, and continual improvement projects for facilities and processes
Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs to identify optimization opportunities
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Requisitos principales Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
2-3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, instrumentation, or complex technological environments
Proven experience coordinating maintenance activities and managing priorities
Advanced knowledge of instrumentation, electrical systems, automation, and measurement equipment
Strong capability in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvement
Experience with suppliers and maintenance contracts is a plus
English proficiency at least B2
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS
Strong organizational skills and results-oriented mindset
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
Availability for occasional business travel leadership communication influencing skills instrumentation systems electrical systems automation and control
