Overview

As Engineering Manager, you will lead teams shaping Flywire's core payments architecture and scale our distributed, high-availability systems. You'll balance strategic technical direction with people leadership, enabling AI-driven automation to improve payments compliance and risk. You'll partner with Product, QA and SRE to align roadmaps and deliver impact at general scale.

Responsabilidades Strategic Oversight: set priorities for specific teams and ensure execution aligns with strategy

Team Development: manage performance, coaching, hiring within budget

Resource Allocation: determine approaches to daily operations across multiple product lines

Requisitos principales 3+ years managing and mentoring engineering teams with track record in performance management and hiring

7+ years of software engineering experience on high-availability production systems and distributed architecture

Hands-on experience building or supporting payment platforms, payment gateways, fintech products, or related domains

Strong ability to communicate technical matters to non-technical stakeholders strategic thinking leadership and people development cross-functional collaboration
