Role Description The Occupational Therapist will work full time on-site in Málaga, providing assessment and intervention services to clients in coordination with medical and technical teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating functional abilities, planning and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs, and documenting treatment plans and progress in accordance with relevant standards.
The role involves supporting clients in improving performance in daily activities, adapting environments or tools to enhance independence, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure integrated, high-quality care.
The Occupational
Therapist will also communicate regularly with clients, families, and other stakeholders to educate on treatment goals, promote adherence to therapy, and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical and organizational practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation to assess needs and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Relevant knowledge of Medicine to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and understand clinical conditions.
- Effective Communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and families in a clear and respectful manner.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics to support children and adolescents with functional, developmental, or learning challenges.
- Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility to practice in Spain, with current professional registration where required.
- Experience in clinical or community-based settings, preferably in rehabilitation or related healthcare environments.
- Ability to work systematically under quality and regulatory frameworks, maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Organizational and documentation skills, including accurate record keeping and use of digital tools for case management.
