Overview

As Discovery Project Leader you drive scientific strategy and execution for a discovery or development project, integrating biology, chemistry, and translational inputs to reach key milestones. You guide cross-functional teams and make data-driven decisions while maintaining robust documentation and scientific rigor. You contribute to publications and external engagement, safeguarding IP and ethical standards.

This role sits at the heart of translating science into impactful therapies for patients, partnering with governance and external collaborators. You shape the project trajectory with strategic thinking, operational oversight, and a clear-go decision framework.

Responsabilidades Define scientific strategy and deliverables with clear objectives and go/no-go criteria

Design and oversee experimental plans; interpret results to steer decisions

Lead cross-functional teams (biology, chemistry, DMPK, tox, CMC) and manage external collaborations





Present findings to governance and maintain rigorous documentation and data integrity

Contribute to publications, patents, and engagement with KOLs and partners

Manage budgets and timelines; identify risks and implement mitigations

Requisitos principales PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with strong postdoctoral/industry experience

6–8+ years in drug discovery/development with demonstrated project leadership

Track record of impactful scientific contributions and cross-functional collaboration

Strong communication, data interpretation, and strategic thinking skills excellent communication strategic thinking cross-functional collaboration

IND-enabling progress publications and conference presence experience managing CROs/academic collaborations
