Overview In this role you drive AVEVA's supplier decarbonisation program, designing and scaling an end-to-end operating model for supplier engagement and data validation. You'll lead governance, data quality, and reporting to boost participation and translate emissions data into actionable plans. The work sits at the intersection of sustainability and procurement, shaping how the indirect supply chain supports AVEVA's targets.

This is a hands-on leadership role with scale-up potential and cross-functional impact.

Responsabilidades

Build and execute the supplier decarbonisation engagement plan aligned to AVEVA targets and reporting needs

Prioritise and tier suppliers using data-driven screening (spend, materiality, GHG maturity)

Partner with category/relationship owners to confirm ownership and engagement routes

Deliver enablement at scale (webinars, office hours, templates) and provide 1:1 support for low-maturity suppliers

Establish follow-up and escalation for non-participation or poor submissions

Operate data collection workflows using tools (e.g., Watershed) and plan scale-up with rising supplier volume

Implement an assurance-ready emissions data approach: minimum data requirements, validation checks, and evidence expectations

Provide guidance on data expectations and validate submissions via completeness and plausibility checks

Maintain audit-ready documentation (methodology notes, logs, evidence packs)

Develop lightweight automation (dashboards/surveys) to improve tracking as requirements grow





Translate submissions into credible action plans with milestones and owners

Identify decarbonisation levers relevant to AVEVA's indirect supply chain and share practical recommendations

Track progress, manage follow-ups, and retain closure evidence

Requisitos principales Demonstrated experience designing and delivering supplier decarbonisation or Scope 3 engagement

Strong knowledge of GHG concepts (Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3) and data quality/validation

Experience running supplier emissions data collection (Scope 1/2 and upstream Scope 3) and improving data quality

Strong programme management and ability to drive delivery through a matrix

Proven supplier engagement capability with coaching, clear expectations, and escalation

Evidence of delivery outcomes (better participation, higher data-quality, action plan adoption)

Comfort with datasets and dashboards (Excel/Sheets; Power BI/Tableau desirable)

Understanding of procurement levers and alignment of sustainability with commercial realities

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

Desirable: ESG platforms (e.g., Watershed, CDP, EcoVadis) and assurance-ready ways of working

Ability to design supplier journeys and general stakeholder engagement

Experience with time-zone and culture-diverse engagement

Nice-to-have certifications: CIPS, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064 familiarity stakeholder alignment pragmatic coaching/handholding clear expectation-setting
