We are seeking an experienced and analytical
QC Scientist to join a growing, regulated laboratory environment specializing in biologic analysis. Working closely with lab leadership, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing testing workflows, managing client project timelines, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytical Execution &
- Oversight:
Design, oversee, and conduct complex quality control assays for biological products, with a heavy focus on advanced liquid chromatography (
HPLC
).
- Project &
- Client Management:
Serve as a technical point of contact for external clients, ensuring project milestones are met on time and communication remains seamless.
- Regulatory &
- Documentation Compliance:
Generate, review, and manage critical GMP documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), deviations, Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations, and CAPAs.
- Team Leadership:
Mentor, direct, and supervise junior laboratory technicians,
ensuring experimental workflows are executed accurately and safely.
Qualifications &
- Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a closely related life sciences discipline.
- Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated, hands-on experience developing and running
HPLC methodologies.
- Industry Experience:
A strong background working within a
Pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory operating under strict
GMP regulations is mandatory.
- Preferred Skills:
Prior exposure to protein characterization techniques (such as Western Blot, ELISA, or electrophoresis) is highly advantageous.
- Languages:
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Scheduling:
Flexibility to commit fully to either the designated morning (6h – 14h) or afternoon shift schedule (14h - 22h)
