Kapadi is a full service CRO that focuses on complex oncology indications including immunotherapy and cellular therapies. We have an infrastructure to enhance access to patients and integrated technology to provide higher quality and faster access to results. We are looking for a highly-motivated Director, Business Development to help us continue to grow our business and deliver new, life-changing therapies for the cancer patients who need them.

As a Director, Business Development, you will:

- Introduce Kapadi to new customers utilizing proactive sales strategies.
- Work to secure RFPs from prospective clients.
- Work in close coordination with cross-functional teams on proposals, bid defense activities and negotiations with prospective clients.
- Lead bid defense preparation and present at bid defense meetings.
- Generate new and repeat business for Kapadi.
- Drive new potential awards through contract signature.




- Build and solidify relationships with new and existing Kapadi customers.
- Attend professional meetings/conferences throughout assigned region of responsibility.
- Be an ambassador for Kapadi’s mission and the company’s brand as the go-to CRO for immuno-oncology programs in the biotech industry.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead the sales and marketing process.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical operations and sales requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the clinical research and development process in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industries.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CRO sales with demonstrated success in growing and managing a sales territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, business, marketing or communications fields is preferable.
