Summary

Sales Assistant

At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of Barcelona's newest luxury landmarks , we are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented , and highly organized Sales Assistant to join our Sales & Marketing team .

This role is responsible for supporting the Sales team in coordinating daily commercial activities , maintaining accurate sales records , assisting with client communications , and ensuring the smooth execution of administrative processes . Working closely with Revenue Management, Events , Reservations, Marketing, and other hotel departments , you will help drive business opportunities and support Hyatt's luxury hospitality standards .

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Sales team in coordinating daily sales activities and administrative tasks .

- Assist with the preparation of proposals , contracts , presentations , and other sales documentation .

- Manage client inquiries and ensure timely follow -up and communication .

- Maintain accurate account , client , and activity records within sales systems .

- Coordinate site inspections , client visits , and sales events .

- Prepare reports and support departmental tracking and reporting processes .

- Collaborate with Events , Reservations, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience .

- Maintain organized sales files, contracts , and correspondence .

- Assist with promotional initiatives , trade shows , and networking activities .

- Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards , company policies , and procedures .

- Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management .

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience in a sales support, administrative, or hospitality-related role is preferred , preferably within a hotel environment .





- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail .

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced environment .

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications , particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Experience with Delphi, Opera Cloud, CRM systems , or similar hotel sales platforms is an advantage .

- Strong administrative and reporting skills .

- Fluent Spanish and a high level of English are required ; additional languages are an asset .

- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities .

- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service .
