As a Lead Software Engineer in the Dow Jones Platform Team, you’ll shape next-gen web, mobile and AI platforms for Dow Jones brands across B2C and B2B. You’ll collaborate with product and design to define architecture, drive delivery, and ensure scalable, reliable products. This role focuses on solving cross-team technical challenges and advancing platform capabilities to enable product innovation. You’ll lead by empowering the team, removing blockers, and aligning technical work with business goals. • Define and implement architecture models and programming standards
• Analyze complex technical problems and present multi-team solutions
• Collaborate with product to manage scope and deliverables for the tech roadmap

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in software engineering, with 2-4 years in a lead role
• Knowledge of commercial B2C and B2B digital product models
• Experience with online subscription, advertising, and privacy technologies; high-traffic sites
• Strong JavaScript understanding and web best practices
• Advanced CSS (Grid, Flexbox, media queries, etc.)
• Experience with AI tools to boost productivity and product development
• Familiarity with agentic software design
• Proven collaboration across large-scale projects
