Overview In this role, you will own the vision and execution of AstraZeneca's enterprise AI platform, enabling scientists and developers to access secure, scalable AI tooling. You'll lead a global team of AI engineers and product managers, balancing cutting-edge capabilities with production reliability and GxP compliance. You will partner with research, IT, and business units to deliver production-ready ML infrastructure and developer experiences.

This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity to transform healthcare through AI at scale.

Responsabilidades Own the complete vision for AI usage across research and development, from core infrastructure to tools, SDKs, and integrations

Build partnerships and manage ecosystem programs with cloud providers and vendors; influence technical decisions and roadmaps

Lead enterprise platform product initiatives including security, compliance, authentication, SLAs, governance, and documentation

Collaborate with engineering on architecture for large ML workloads, including AWS scaling, deployment pipelines, and reliability

Oversee budget and resources (FTE, outsourced providers, professional services) for sophisticated partner groups





Requisitos principales Extensive experience in product management or technical leadership with 5+ years in senior roles leading enterprise AI platforms or ML infrastructure

Proven ability to develop technical strategies and align with general partners

Strong communication and influencing capabilities; budget and resource management experience

Proficient in Python; exceptional proficiency in at least one programming language

Experience leading an enterprise platform/service and handling customer demand and feature requests

Experience managing a team of technical experts; familiarity with SAFe principles

Experience with internal security standards and frameworks

BS in Computer Science or related field

Significant AWS cloud experience (SageMaker, Athena, S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, etc.)

Knowledge of building production-grade data science and ML environments

Modern DevOps mindset with Docker, Git; IaC using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation

Ability to adapt ML methods to parallel environments (distributed clusters, GPUs)
