Overview

As Senior Engineer, Embedded Software at Analog Devices, you will help advance embedded software for ADEF & COMMS products. You'll design high-performance real-time software for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and develop customer-facing drivers and APIs. You'll collaborate with distributed teams to resolve issues, document concepts, and drive quality through tests and reviews.

This role centers on delivering reliable, secure software that extends device capabilities and addresses complex customer needs. You'll join a fast-growing, world-class team and contribute to shaping next-gen data converters and communication ASICs.

Responsabilidades Design and develop high-performance real-time embedded applications on ARM Cortex-M in C

Develop customer-facing device drivers in C and C#

Collaborate with Silicon Designers, Embedded Software Engineers, Applications Engineers, QA and other teammates

Create documentation to support firmware design and communicate concepts

Participate in code reviews and improve software standards

Develop and execute unit and integration test plans

Develop and review tools for testing and interfacing with the product

Analyze test results and implement corrective actions





Provide customer support during Beta trials and post-release

Develop customer-facing documentation and training material

Comply with licensing, code origin control and documentation

Mentor junior team members

Requisitos principales 5+ years designing, developing and launching high-performance real-time embedded systems

Strong C/C++ development and debugging skills

Experience developing customer-facing C/C++ APIs and SDKs

Experience with hardware abstraction layers (HAL) and register-level device control

Strong knowledge of ARM Cortex architectures

Experience in real-time embedded systems (bare metal and RTOS)

Proficiency with Git and code review processes

Experience with continuous integration/automated testing

Knowledge of software QA best practices

Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing techniques

Experience with agile methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communications skills team player with excellent communication cross-functional collaboration mentoring junior engineers
