Overview

As a Principal Data Analyst at Zynga, you partner with game teams to shape product strategy and drive data-driven decisions that boost engagement and growth. You will elevate analytics standards, mentor analysts, and advocate a culture of experimentation and data literacy. You'll influence roadmaps, features, and monetization through rigorous analyses of player behavior and product performance.

This role combines quantitative insight, business sense, and leadership to impact top titles across the portfolio.

Responsabilidades Shape data-driven game strategy and influence product roadmaps and monetization

Analyze player behavior, economy trends, and product performance in cross-functional teams

Design and run A/B tests and build predictive models (e.g., churn, LTV, segmentation)

Lead and mentor analysts, communicating insights to senior leadership through dashboards and storytelling





Collaborate on data tools and pipelines to improve data infrastructure and promote data literacy and experimentation

Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making across the organization

Requisitos principales Experience in analytics or data science roles, ideally in gaming, mobile apps, or digital products

Strong business sense and product intuition; ability to prioritize impactful work

Solid experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and experimentation design

Background in applied statistics; Bayesian methods a plus

Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis

Excellent communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders

Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences

Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar

Experience mentoring or leading other analysts is a plus

Fast learner, meticulous, proactive, and pragmatic communication mentoring storytelling
