Overview

As a Senior GNC Engineer in Barcelona, you will advance rendezvous capabilities through expert guidance of guidance, navigation and control systems within a cross-functional team. You will drive algorithm development, integrate them into spacecraft architecture, and shape safety and operational concepts. Your work will influence mission success from conception through operations, with hands-on validation and real-world satellite experience.

Responsabilidades Develop advanced GNC algorithms for space rendezvous

Integrate algorithms with system parameters (sensors, actuators, computers)

Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess GNC performance

Contribute to ConOps and Safety Concepts, including FDIR strategies





Support GNC Validation & Verification processes for reliability

Assist Rendezvous and Docking Operations across mission lifecycle

Requisitos principales Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (PhD a plus)

≥8 years of professional GNC/AOCS experience for satellites

Heritage in at least one successful satellite mission with GNC/AOCS/Flight Dynamics

Strong programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink with autocoding; flight computer software experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in English strong communication interpersonal skills
