Overview In this role you will support Brazil and Europe indirect tax research and classification, contributing to global transaction tax calculations. You will translate complex tax rules into technical requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to maintain tax content and tax calculation solutions. You will work with local partners and audits, driving cross-functional tax initiatives and process improvements.

This position is office-based in Barcelona, with a focus on scalable, accurate tax determination across regions. You join a Global Tax Calculation Services team shaping end-to-end tax solutions for diverse products and services.

Responsabilidades Maintain and enrich local and global indirect tax content across Europe

Conduct comprehensive ICMS research across Brazils states and analyze rate scenarios

Determine CST and cClassTrib codes for the Brazilian Tax Calculator API

Support dual tax regime operations during Brazils 2026-2032 transition

Maintain and enhance tax calculation software

Translate tax legislation into technical requirements for Engineering,



Applied Science, and Product teams

Support end-to-end integral transaction tax calculation solutions for products and services

Assist internal and external audits and provide technical tax guidance

Advise on product taxability and tax rates based on laws and jurisdiction changes

Participate in team operational excellence programs and project lifecycles

Requisitos principales 5+ years Brazilian Indirect Tax experience or EU VAT experience in Big 4, law firm, or multinational tax department

Bachelors degree in Tax, Accounting, Law, Economics, Business Administration or related field

Excellent written and spoken English

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications excellent written and oral communication cross-functional collaboration analytical thinking

Indirect tax knowledge (ICMS, IPI, PIS and COFINS)

Experience with Brazilian Tax Reform (Complementary Law 214/2025)
