Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead thedefinition ,validation , andimplementation of allarchitectural choices forCloud & Software Architecture (SWA) initiatives across the group.
- Ensure thetechnical quality ,scalability ,performance , andmaintainability of all solutions delivered by theSoftware Architecture team .
- Drive theevolution of existingsoftware architectures and frameworks toward modern technologies, with a strong emphasis onAI‑driven development andGenAI-assisted coding .
- Manage , mentor, and develop theSoftware Architecture team .

Specific Responsibilities

- Act as the keytechnical advisor to the Head of Architecture & Technology on allCloud & SWA projects .
- Define thetechnologies ,frameworks , andtools to be used across SWA initiatives.
- Establish and maintaindevelopment standards ,architectural principles , andbest practices for application design and coding.




- Oversee thetechnical implementation of applications and providehands‑on support to teams when required.
- Contribute to thedesign ,development , anddeployment of SWA applications.
- Periodically reviewtechnical processes andprocedures , identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Lead thetechnical evolution of applications to maintainperformance ,stability , and business alignment.
- Provide3rd‑level support for live applications.
- Ensure compliance with theSGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct .

Qualifications

Education & Experience

- Master’s degree or equivalent inComputer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience insoftware architecture ,cloud architecture , and enterprise software development.
- Experience working in aninternational andmulticultural environment.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge ofAgile methodologies (Agile,Scrum ).
- Advanced proficiency inC# andASP.NET 4.5 .
- Strong experience withEntity Framework .
- Strong command ofSQL Server andSQL .
- In‑depth knowledge ofMicrosoft Azure cloud architecture and services.
- Experience withGenAI‑based coding andAI‑assisted development .

Required Soft Skills

- Strong leadership .
- Excellentcommunication abilities.
- Team‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Highlyorganized ,structured , andanalytical .

Preferred Technical Skills

- Good understanding ofWeb API .
