At MedaStaré, we are shaping the future of fashion and personal style by combining cutting-edge artificial intelligence with seamless mobile experiences. We are developing an AI-powered Fashion & Beauty mobile platform built with Next.js, packaged cross-platform for iOS and Android via Capacitor, and backed by Firebase.

Our core development phase is nearing completion, and we are now in the final pre-production stage, preparing for our upcoming launch. To ensure a high-performance, stable, and polished release on the App Store and Google Play, we are looking for a hands-on Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with conversational English communication skills to lead our final validation and release-readiness efforts.

Role Overview

You will take full ownership of the end-to-end quality assurance during this critical go-to-production milestone. Your primary mission will be rigorous regression testing, edge-case discovery, validating Capacitor native bridges, and ensuring our Firebase backend workflows and AI features perform reliably before launch. Because you will collaborate across technical syncs and document release sign-offs is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Production & Release Readiness: Lead full regression, smoke, and final acceptance testing cycles to ensure the app meets strict production-readiness criteria and app store guidelines.
- Cross-Platform & Native Bridge Testing: Conduct thorough testing across iOS and Android builds wrapped with Capacitor, validating WebView performance, hardware permissions (camera, media library), offline behavior, and push notifications.
- AI & Feature Verification: Test end-to-end user journeys for our AI-powered features, dynamic Next.js rendering, asset uploads, and complex responsive layouts across diverse screen sizes and OS versions.
- Backend & Data Integrity: Verify data synchronization, auth flows,



and security rules across Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions).
- Defect Hunting & Technical Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize critical edge cases, performance bottlenecks, and UI glitches with precise logs and reproducible steps in English using Jira or similar tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineers and product stakeholders in active English standups and discussions to squash launch-blocking bugs and approve final release candidate (RC) builds.

Qualifications
- Conversational working proficiency in English (both written and spoken); able to participate in technical meetings, write clear bug documentation, and coordinate release discussions fluently.
- 4+ years of professional Mobile QA experience, with proven experience taking consumer apps through final testing to production launch.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience testing hybrid / cross-platform apps (Capacitor, Ionic, Cordova) and familiarity with WebView-native bridge behaviors.
- Strong foundation in testing modern Next.js / React applications and responsive mobile interfaces.
- Practical experience inspecting and verifying data in Firebase ecosystems (Firestore, Firebase Auth, Cloud Storage).
- Deep expertise with mobile debugging and network inspection tools (Chrome DevTools, Safari Web Inspector, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, ADB/Xcode logs).
- Sharp eye for subtle UI/UX flaws, edge cases, and unexpected user behaviors.
- High ownership, proactive communication, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced pre-launch environment.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools for web/hybrid apps (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Maestro, or Appium).
