As Commodity Manager for Aircraft MRO Services at Airbus Defence and Space, you shape procurement strategy for sub-commodities and manage a global supplier network. You work with cross-functional teams to secure value-for-money, ensure airworthiness, and drive profitable, compliant sourcing. You lead market analysis, tendering, and long-term contracts to support aircraft maintenance programs. This role offers impact by aligning supplier capabilities with strategic outcomes and regulatory standards.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead tenders and supplier selections across internal requirements and proposals
• Coordinate contract negotiations, approvals, and post-signature follow-up
• Set up and manage contractual agreements with suppliers and negotiate new contracts
• Oversee supplier relationships and negotiations to meet program and customer expectations on quality, cost, and delivery
• Ensure compliant, sustainable procurement including Export Control, Ethics, Compliance, and environmental considerations
• Define and monitor the commodity strategy and lead Multi-Functional Teams (MFT)
• Perform market analysis and support sales campaigns




• Contribute to Make-Buy analyses and transversal procurement/value creation initiatives

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years in procurement-related roles with worldwide supplier experience (at least 2 years) including engineering, services, or MRO
• Experience managing complex global projects in a demanding aerospace environment, preferably defense
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and airworthiness requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to persuade in monopolistic contexts
• Experience in relationship building, team leadership, conflict management
• Analytical skills for price/value analysis and risk assessment
• Proficiency in Integrity/Compliance policies and Export Control Regulations
• Knowledge of SAP and procurement tools is an asset
• Fluent in Spanish and English; French and/or German is a plus
• MRO knowledge is a plus
• Ability to travel as required
