Experteer Overview
In this role you design and implement Rust-based services that power Kraken’s core infrastructure, focusing on correctness, security, and maintainability. You will build scalable, observable, and fault-tolerant backend systems used by general trading and internal platforms. You collaborate with a broad engineering team to uphold high standards of reliability and ownership in a regulated, security-sensitive environment. Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and scaling shared systems and internal platforms
• Proficient in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust
• Security-first mindset in system design
• Ability to autonomously debug issues across OS, network, and application layers
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event-Driven Systems
• Collaborate effectively with product teams to gather requirements and constraints
• Take complete end-to-end ownership of systems and libraries
