Role Description<

The Freelance Brand Designer at Laft is a remote, contract role focused on creating and refining visual brand identities for sustainable and ethical fashion brands.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing brand concepts, designing logos and visual systems, selecting typography and color palettes, and producing brand guidelines.
The designer will collaborate with the founder and creative partners (such as social media, UX/UI, and photography professionals) to ensure cohesive visual storytelling across digital platforms.
The role also involves preparing design assets for web and social media, iterating based on feedback, and delivering production-ready files that align with brand strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in brand identity and brand design, with experience building cohesive visual systems for purpose-driven or design-focused brands.
- Proficiency in visual design and graphic design, including layout, typography, color theory, and asset creation for digital channels.
- Understanding of branding principles, including positioning, tone, and visual storytelling that supports sustainable and ethical brand narratives.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar) and ability to create production-
