Overview In this role you will drive the development, execution and commercial performance of strategic partnerships within Santanders Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions. You will build and manage relationships with key partners, translate opportunities into business initiatives, and lead end-to-end execution of projects and transactions. You will also own revenue targets and collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to scale solutions.

This is an international, fast-paced role that shapes how Santander delivers Working Capital and Trade Finance to clients.

Responsabilidades

Identify and develop long-term partnerships aligned with Santanders Trade Finance and Working Capital strategy

Understand partners models and priorities to find mutual value

Maintain senior stakeholder relationships across partner organizations

Create partnership strategies and joint business plans aligned with commercial objectives

Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and form new strategic collaborations

Originate and develop opportunities within the Working Capital Solutions ecosystem

Collaborate with Trade Finance, GTB and related teams to craft client propositions

Translate market needs into viable partnership opportunities

Support negotiation of business cases, commercial models, and agreements

Oversee end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives with partners, ensuring milestones and outcomes

Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, technology, operations, legal, risk, compliance, sales)





Act as primary liaison between Santander and partners throughout implementation

Address operational, legal, risk, technology, and process requirements to enable execution

Proactively identify and mitigate execution risks and dependencies

Monitor live transactions to ensure service and commercial objectives are met

Take ownership of commercial performance, defined revenue targets, KPIs, and budgets

Provide regular performance updates to senior management

Operate across multiple geographies and cultures

Represent Santander in senior-level discussions with partners

Build collaboration across Santanders international Trade Finance and GTB organization

Requisitos principales 5+ years in Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Working Capital Solutions or related field

Strong understanding of Trade Finance products and Working Capital Solutions, preferably Receivables Discounting

Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and complex project/transaction execution

Track record of taking strategic initiatives from origination to implementation and commercialization

Experience coordinating complex transactions and operational execution

Strong commercial orientation with revenue targets and business plans

Experience working with stakeholders across product, sales, operations, technology, legal, risk, and compliance

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Engineering or related field

Fluent English; other languages advantageous

Knowledge of securitisation and receivables financing is desirable

Relationship-building with senior stakeholders

Business acumen and ability to spot commercial opportunities

Project management and transaction execution capabilities
