An opportunity for a
Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator
has arisen within
Airbus Operations
in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the
PIOGO team , acting as the essential link between manufacturing units, supply chain stakeholders, and programs. In this role, you will play a key part in placing purchase orders, maintaining material flows, and managing supplier inventory to directly support assembly lines and customer support needs.
Responsibilities
Manage Purchasing & Orders: Place purchase orders on behalf of the commodity and maintain full lifecycle order accuracy in the ERP system.
Coordinate Material Delivery: Serve as the operational interface between manufacturing customers, program teams, quality, and physical logistics to ensure parts arrive on time, quality, and cost.
Monitor Performance & Issues: Daily track supply chain performance across receiving, workshops, and shipping while prioritizing urgent requests and resolving disputes.
Drive Corrective Actions:
Collaborate directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks and implement corrective/preventive action plans.
Manage Inventory & Flows: Monitor general inventory volumes, control stock levels, and manage bidirectional logistics flows (returned parts, quotes, teardowns).
Improve Processes & KPIs: Implement and analyze key supply chain KPIs to identify continuous improvement opportunities and maintain supply continuity.
Skills
Education: University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally within aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments.
Technical Knowledge: Strong command of MRP/ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset under dynamic pressure.
