Overview

In this role, you will be the reliable service provider for enterprise tool requests within R&D;, enabling scientists and engineers to focus on developing patient-focused products. You will join a global, cross-functional support team to simplify and harmonize internal systems, processes, and tools. You’ll blend hands-on tool expertise with compliance knowledge to improve response times and data integrity. You will work closely with internal customers, anticipate their needs, and drive automation and digital improvements that boost productivity. This is a chance to influence how R&D; collaborates across geographies while contributing to Roche’s mission to improve healthcare access.

Responsabilidades

- Fulfill R&D; tool requests using expertise in business systems and compliance standards
- Provide timely, expert support for operational issues and system problems
- Act as SME for one or more complex R&D; business applications
- Develop deep knowledge of key processes (records management, lab data, change requests)
- Maximize scientist productivity by streamlining operations across business data and org structure




- Anticipate customer needs by building organizational know-how of R&D; roles and priorities
- Maintain a strong, collaborative service mindset within a integral team
- Drive process improvement through identifying manual steps and digitization opportunities
- Automate administrative tasks using automation and AI tools
- Ensure data integrity and compliance for audits and data retrieval

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or business discipline
- 2+ years of professional experience in operations, technical support, or system administration
- Excellent written and verbal English; German is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes
- Experience with enterprise business applications is desirable (e.g., EDM, LMS, or project management tools)
- Education and experience in data structures, databases, automation, scripting, or AI is desirable
