Who we are

Monex Europe is a specialist in commercial foreign exchange and international payments, part of the general Monex Group, a financial institution founded in 1985. We help corporates and institutions manage FX exposure, execute hedging strategies and move money across borders.

In 2024 we facilitated $200 billion in FX turnover, managed $16.1 billion in assets and processed 1.7 million transactions for more than 73,000 clients worldwide. We operate across the Americas, Asia and Europe, with offices in Mexico, Madrid, Amsterdam, London, the USA, Canada and Singapore.

Spain is a growth market for us. In 2024 we established two dedicated Spanish entities — Monex Europa S.L. (payment institution) and Monex Europe Markets S.V., S.A.U. (investment firm) — consolidating our European operations and investing directly in the Madrid platform. This role sits at the centre of that investment.

About the Role

As a Senior Executive covering the German market, you own a personal revenue book and are accountable for hitting weekly,



monthly and quarterly targets — in full alignment with our code of conduct and regulatory obligations.

You originate and close new business with German-speaking corporates and institutions, manage your own pipeline end to end, and build long-term client relationships. As a senior member of the desk you also set the standard for how Monex sells: clients' long-term interests first, fair outcomes, sustainable revenue — and you support more junior colleagues through informal mentoring and by sharing best practice.

Reporting Line

This position reports directly to the Head of Desk and carries visibility across the business. You will be based in Madrid, working closely with Dealing, Compliance, Credit & Risk, Operations and Marketing — and you will gain exposure across our different offices, partnering with colleagues in London, Amsterdam and the wider Monex network as the desk grows.
