IT Support Technician

Job description

We are looking for a technical support professional to join the IT department, eager to learn and grow within the organization. The selected candidate will join a dynamic team and will be responsible for providing technical support to users, participating in various technological areas of the company, and developing a long-term professional career within the organization.

This position combines user support tasks, incident and request management, system monitoring, backup administration, and coordination of IT purchasing processes. The selected person will work closely with the rest of the technical team to ensure an efficient, user-focused, and high-quality service.

The position is physically located at our offices in Madrid with the possibility of partial remote work. It may also require travel depending on company needs.

Responsibilities

User Support
- Provide first-level technical support to employees and collaborators.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents related to computers, operating systems, mobile devices, printers,



and corporate applications.
- Provide in-person, phone, and remote support.
- Manage user onboarding, modifications, and offboarding according to established procedures.

Incident and Helpdesk Management
- Handle incidents and requests logged in the ticketing system.
- Prioritize, categorize, and track tickets until resolution.
- Escalate incidents to specialized teams when necessary.

System Monitoring
- Monitor alerts generated by corporate systems and services.
- Identify potential incidents proactively.
- Participate in infrastructure maintenance tasks.

Backup Management
- Verify the correct execution of backup processes.
- Maintain the backup robot and manage LTO tapes.
- Perform periodic restore and data integrity checks.
- Document backups daily.

IT Procurement Management
- Manage purchase requests for IT equipment, licenses, and technology services.
