Experteer Overview
As a z/OS System Programmer, you will maintain and optimize mission-critical z/OS environments within a distributed EU GIS team. You will drive smooth builds, migrations, and recovery exercises while ensuring secure, well-documented operations. You’ll partner with cross-country colleagues to deliver proactive, outcome-driven infrastructure services at scale. This role offers exposure to modernization tasks and leadership of a remote team. You will shape reliability and performance for clients’ mainframe systems.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Install, configure, and maintain z/OS and related software
• Execute builds, migrations, refreshes, CPU swaps, and LPAR build/decommission projects
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and participate in disaster recovery drills
• Manage security profiles, access controls, and I/O configurations
• Analyze system performance using SMF data




• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Lead and mentor a remote team distributed across several EU countries

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in z/OS system programming
• Strong command of z/OS architecture, system commands, utilities, and troubleshooting
• Experience with system management tools and automation
• Good level of English
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
