ABOUT US

ClearSky is an environmental credits company with an office in Madrid and activity across Spain. We develop carbon absorption projects registered with MITECO, leasing, buying or partnering with landowners and communities to convert unproductive land into forest. We are now opening a second business line in the Spanish Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) market and are structuring our first energy efficiency projects, which we develop and finance with our own capital alongside execution partners.

THE ROLE

The role owns all GIS and cartographic work across the MITECO project portfolio: eligibility screening, registry file preparation, subsanacion management, V8 carbon calculator calibration,



and technical coordination with forestry contractors and regional administrations. It reports to the group Chief Commercial Officer.

This is an operational and technical role, not a commercial one. The person works with data, cartography and regulatory documentation. The role carries direct responsibility for the quality and timeliness of the documentation submitted to MITECO and the regional governments.

DUTIES
- Run GIS eligibility analysis for new projects: overlay CORINE 1990, Mapa Forestal de Espana (MFE50), SIGPAC, Natura 2000, Catastro, LiDAR (where available), slope (MDT) and fire perimeter layers, applying MITECO V12 methodology criteria for Type A and Type B projects.
- Operate the OECC V8 carbon calculator for ex ante CO2 absorption estimates by project, calibrating species, densities, mortality and permanence horizons per the Cuadernos de Zona of each autonomous community.
