Overview In this role you will lead the integration and qualification of the Communications system for Airbus Defence and Space platforms, coordinating across military aircraft programs. You will define architecture, support feasibility studies, and manage supplier interactions to ensure compliant, state-of-the-art radio and data link capabilities. You will work with cross-functional teams, customers, and international regulators to deliver robust avionics solutions on tight timelines.

This position offers the chance to shape communications systems for multiple platforms within a large integral aerospace organization.

Responsabilidades

Radio system integration in EF2000 platform

Involvement in other Airbus DS Military Aircraft platforms (C295, MRTT, A400M, ED, SIRTAP)

Allocating aircraft requirements to a Communications System

Defining the architecture and specifications of the Communications system

Elaborating engineering design documentation

Design, integration, qualification and certification of the Communications system

Supporting feasibility studies for new products/user needs

Supplier technical management

Supporting the design process including design review meetings





Supporting meetings with end customers

Supporting Certification and Qualification process

Supporting Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM, etc.)

Supporting transversal areas such as Services, Production, Procurement, etc.

Supporting test campaign sequencing, test procedures & facilities

Monitoring and supporting tests and real-time analysis of test results

Contribution to R&T; programs related to SDR/SCA Radios

Staying current with international regulations: ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL

Requisitos principales Telecommunications Engineering degree or similar

3 years of experience in systems engineering or development of avionics system

Good knowledge of Communication Functions in other platforms

Background knowledge: Inmarsat/Iridium Satcom, Radios (V/UHF, VHF, HF), Civil Datalink (FANS, CPDLC)

International project experience

Strong English and Spanish skills

Good communication skills and pro-active problem solving

Ability to work under strict timescales as part of an integrated and multifunctional team
