Experteer Overview In this role, you will apply Generative AI and LLMs to build end-to-end data products that address BBVA’s business needs. You will work with a cross-functional team within the BBVA AI Factory to develop explainable, impactful AI-driven solutions for finance. You’ll lead analytical projects, build predictive and generative models, and manage LLM lifecycles to support customer relationships and operational processes. This position offers hands-on impact in a data-driven, innovative environment with mentorship and governance of analytics practices.Compensaciones / Incentivos• Lead analytical projects aligned with strategic objectives and guide analytical teams to delivery• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover actionable insights• Build predictive and generative models using statistical, ML, and LLM techniques• Manage LLM lifecycles: evaluation, fine-tuning, optimization, and integration• Lead iterative development of LLM-based solutions, including knowledge bases and evaluation methods• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers,



and designers to deploy data-driven solutions• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization• Mentor less experienced team members to support growth and success• Ensure deliverables meet Advanced Analytics governance standards and best practicesResponsabilidades• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with substantial LLM work and multi-disciplinary projects• Advanced knowledge of LLMs: fine-tuning, prompt engineering, embeddings, model optimization• Proficiency in Python; strong experience with Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn; hands-on PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers• End-to-end ML lifecycle experience from dataset creation to monitoring/retraining• Strong data storytelling and ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders• Knowledge of ethical AI, data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and responsible data science practices• Nice to have: financial industry experience, PhD, cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and mentor teamsRequisitos principales•
