Overview

In this role, you will own and scale New Relic’s streaming services that route and process vast platform data across global cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with a distributed team to improve reliability, automation, and architecture for high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines. You’ll contribute to a culture of innovation and operational excellence, helping development teams deliver reliable streaming services. This is an opportunity to shape how customers gain insight from massive data streams while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

- Own, build, maintain, and scale streaming services and their support tools
- Participate in on-call rotations and embed reliability through automation
- Contribute to architectural definitions with innovation and creativity
- Own and improve team processes and workflows




- Develop automation and tooling to boost scalability and reliability
- Utilize innovation time to develop and prototype ideas

Requisitos principales

- Experience developing back-end services with Flink, Kafka, or other streaming platforms
- Proficiency in Java; comfortable with learning and using multiple languages/frameworks
- Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and scaling in production
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, Agile environment delivering production code regularly
- Collaborative work style with shared code ownership
- Proficiency in English
