Join Sevensense by ABB as an experienced Robotic Applications Engineer within the Robotic Systems team to bridge product development and real-world deployments. You’ll work across Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) and Zurich, collaborating with project, support, and R&D; teams to diagnose field issues, improve performance, and validate new features. You’ll contribute hands-on with robotic platforms and help drive customer success and product evolution. Responsabilidades
Provide expert technical guidance during integration, commissioning and operation of deployed systems
Investigate field issues and perform root-cause analysis with R&D; to deliver scalable solutions




Develop tools and software adaptations to improve diagnostics and integration
Collect and analyze field feedback to identify product gaps and drive development
Work hands-on with robotic platforms to validate features and verify fixes
Collaborate across project, support and customer-facing teams to ensure customer success
Requisitos principales
3+ years of industrial experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or related fields
Strong Python software engineering and debugging skills
Experience with Linux-based systems and networking fundamentals xqbhyrx
Familiarity with localization, mapping, navigation, perception, or AMRs
Experience with ROS/ROS2
Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution across multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, project, and customer-facing teams
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
