In this role you lead feasibility and local study delivery for Spain and Italy within the Cell Therapy SMM organization. You oversee Local Study Teams, ensuring studies meet resources, budgets and timelines while complying with ICH-GCP and local regulations. You develop country-specific recruitment and retention Feasibility Strategies and collaborate across SMM, Medical Affairs and Global teams. You may also lead local study activities from site identification to closure, shaping study design and country planning. This is a field-based, cross-functional leadership role with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and process improvement.
Responsabilidades
Lead end-to-end feasibility activities for Spain and Italy and serve as the single country contact for feasibility operations
Develop country-specific recruitment and retention feasibility strategies aligned with resources, budget, and timelines
Act as SME for feasibility and recruitment; oversee study design planning digital platforms and train SMM country users
Identify country-specific challenges, conflicts with standard of care, and market trends; discuss with Global teams
Leverage performance data to set realistic recruitment targets and strategies, including vendors and site tools
Collaborate with SMM leadership and stakeholders to draft country input, risk management, and contingency plans




Provide early country planning inputs and handover knowledge to local study teams
Lead local feasibility responses to meet milestones and recruitment objectives; drive process improvements
Mentor and train new LSAD members and ensure compliance with ICH/GCP and AZ procedures
Lead country-level study delivery activities (site identification to closure) in line with AZ procedures and regulatory requirements
Requisitos principales
Bachelor in Life Sciences or related field; project management certification or equivalent experience
Significant (~5 years) pharmaceutical industry drug development experience
Fluency in Spanish and English
Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders in conflicting priorities
Experience developing and delivering study delivery xqbhyrx strategies aligned to regulatory objectives
Clinical trial patient and investigator recruitment and retention experience
Project and budget management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP and basic GMP/GDP
Knowledge of local regulations and clinical study management including monitoring and data management
Travel approximately 30%
Ability to deliver quality, drive efficiency, and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
