In this role, you ensure the quality and reliability of autonomous mobile robot software releases. You will validate new features, bug fixes, and software releases on robotic platforms, working closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes. You’ll extend manual and automated test suites and push for automation to increase coverage. The position sits within ABB Robotics and Sevensense by ABB, with cross-site collaboration in Spain and Switzerland. You’ll contribute to robust deployments by refining validation workflows and release criteria.

Responsabilidades
Execute and document validation activities for new features, bug fixes, and software releases on robotic platforms
Investigate failures, reproduce issues,



and work with development teams to identify root causes and verify fixes
Maintain and extend manual and automated test suites; collaborate with test automation to increase coverage
Continuously improve validation workflows, environments, and release readiness criteria to boost testing efficiency and product quality
Requisitos principales
Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with focus on robotics systems
Hands-on experience with robotic platforms or complex hardware-software systems for testing, xqbhyrx integration, or troubleshooting
Good programming skills in Python and familiarity with Linux-based systems
Experience executing and documenting structured validation or test activities
Analytical mindset for root-cause analysis and issue resolution
Familiarity with robotics concepts such as localization, navigation, perception, or AMRs; ROS a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills; fluent in English
