Experteer Overview
As a Database Architect, you will shape the long-term strategy and practical implementation of our data platforms in Barcelona. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure database solutions and drive performance, governance, and resilience. You’ll lead complex database initiatives, balancing OLTP and data modeling with modern cloud and open-source technologies. Your work directly supports the company's data-driven goals and regulatory compliance, while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data assets. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role in a fast-growing tech environment.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and communicate a long-term database strategy aligned with business objectives and tech roadmap
• Evaluate database technologies, platforms, and architectures to meet evolving needs
• Design and implement complex database architectures (OLTP and other models) and data models
• Optimize performance via indexing, query tuning, and monitoring; build automation foundations
• Establish data governance, classification,



retention, and security measures
• Lead database projects with the Engineering Team Manager and coordinate cross-functional integration

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of experience in DBA work, database architecture and design
• Proven track record leading complex database projects
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization
• Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with data platforms for SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with automation scripting and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell)
