Overview
In this role you lead a global automation and performance testing team to advance PPG's quality engineering. You will define the testing strategy, tooling, and processes to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software across the organization. You drive AI-powered and data-driven testing approaches to accelerate delivery and improve customer experience. You collaborate with business and IT partners to embed quality into the software lifecycle and shape enterprise-wide testing strategies. This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of automation, analytics, and innovation.

Responsabilidades
- Lead a general team of automation and performance testing engineers to deliver strategic initiatives
- Define scope and quality objectives for releases across functional and non-functional areas
- Establish an automation-first testing strategy and enhance test automation frameworks
- Improve test automation processes, frameworks, and methodologies
- Define and track quality metrics such as automation coverage and test effectiveness




- Ensure release readiness and adherence to quality standards across applications
- Develop testing strategies, plans, and quality roadmaps
- Identify and implement AI-enabled testing capabilities to boost productivity and coverage
- Coordinate with PMs, developers, stakeholders, and IT to resolve defects
- Provide clear testing status reports to senior leadership
- Oversee end-to-end performance testing and analyze performance improvements
- Lead recruitment, talent development, and recognition programs
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and SOX requirements
- Manage team workload and resource allocation
- Identify and adopt industry-leading tools and best practices
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer informat
