Overview
In this role you drive leadership and execution for insurance tax engagements within a national practice. You will apply deep Property & Casualty and Life insurance tax knowledge to advise clients and support growth. You’ll oversee planning, compliance, and audits, and coordinate with tax authorities as needed. You’ll mentor staff, deepen client relationships, and contribute to cross-office initiatives.

Responsabilidades
- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements within budget for Insurance clients
- Apply technical knowledge of Property & Casualty, Life insurance taxation, and captive insurance tax where relevant
- Perform tax planning, consulting, and compliance activities
- Review ASC740 income tax provisions for GAAP and SSAP101
- Research and resolve federal, state, or local tax issues impacting client planning




- Supervise and review work of engagement team; develop tax staff
- Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships
- Assist Insurance Tax Leader on proposals and new business development
- Stay current on technical developments and assess impacts on clients' business

Requisitos principales
- 8+ years of relevant tax experience in a CPA firm or similar environment
- CPA certification required
- Strong knowledge of ASC740 for GAAP and SSAP101
- Proficient in tax planning, compliance, advisory, research, and analysis
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and staff development skills
- Proficient with CCH Axcess, GoRS, and other tax software; MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed
