Position Overview The BESS Delivery & Service Engineer (Utility Scale) is responsible for the execution and lifecycle support of large-scale battery energy storage projects after the project is secured by the sales and presales teams. The role manages the technical delivery, commissioning, and operational & maintenance support of utility-scale BESS projects, working closely with EPC contractors, grid operators, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Handover from Sales / Presales * Take over BESS projects from the sales and presales teams after contract signing. * Review technical proposals, system configurations, and service scope. * Confirm system design and project requirements with internal teams and customers including: System design, Grid requirements, Performance guarantees, Project schedules，etc * Ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule and budget. 2. Project Commissioning Planning and Execution * Manage the full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale BESS projects. * Coordinate with EPC contractors, integrators, and equipment suppliers.
Guide EPC for the equipment unloading, installation etc. * Ensure compliance with technical specifications, grid requirements, and safety standards. 3. Commissioning & Grid Integration * Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for BESS projects. * Conduct commissioning for battery racks, BMS (Battery Management System), PCS (Power Conversion System), EMS (Energy Management System) and MV transformer. * Validate integration of electrical, control, and communication systems. * Conduct grid compliance and performance verification tests * Work with grid operators and technical partners to complete system integration and SAT. * Work with technical support teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning. * Ensure successful handover to operations. 4.
