In this role you will design and implement robust database solutions aligned with the company’s objectives, driving the long-term database strategy. You will work with stakeholders to translate data needs into scalable architectures, while ensuring performance, security, and governance. You will lead complex database projects and collaborate with the Database Engineering Team Manager to deliver on modernization and data integrity.

- Evaluate and recommend database technologies, platforms, and architectures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into solutions
- Design and implement complex database architectures including OLTP systems
- Develop data models, schemas, and normalization rules for data integrity
- Optimize performance via indexing, tuning, and monitoring
- Design automation routines for Database Engineers to follow
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Develop data classification and retention strategies for regulatory compliance
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Lead and manage database-related projects with the Database Engineering Team Manager
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful integration of solutions
Responsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in DBA work, architecture and xugodme design
- Proven track record leading complex database projects
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with data platforms for SQL Server, Postgres, and MySQL
