The Project Lead General Data Trending Solution Cloud provides operational and functional leadership for initiatives related to the cloud evolution of GDTS, data integration, analytical capability definition, and the coordination of data-driven use cases within the BI Dataland environment. This role combines project leadership, systems analysis, data management, and stakeholder coordination to transform complex business, quality, and technology needs into executable plans and sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will work independently in a regulated and highly complex environment, creating clarity where requirements are ambiguous and connecting business, IT, data teams, suppliers, key users, and support teams throughout the initiative lifecycle.
Tasks and responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and follow up GDTS Cloud initiatives using a structured, practical and results-oriented project management approach
Manage priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, milestones and next steps transparently
Prepare roadmaps, status summaries, executive materials, decision logs and progress documentation
Facilitate workshops, refinement sessions, follow-up meetings and cross-functional alignment
Analyse current and future processes related to GDTS Cloud, Continued Process Verification, reporting, dashboards and data consumption
Translate business and quality needs into functional, technical and data requirements, including acceptance criteria and assumptions
Define and document data flows, interfaces, system dependencies, transformation rules, controls and validation points
Work with data sources, ingestion, cleansing, mapping, contextualisation, metadata, data quality, audit trail and traceability
Support the connection between GDTS Cloud and BI Dataland-type ecosystems, including data products, downstream consumers and analytical reporting
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, resolve blockers constructively and follow up commitments against agreed quality criteria
Contribute to transition, training, handover,
operational support and long-term solution sustainability
Requirements
Degree or equivalent professional experience in information technology, systems analysis, data management, engineering or a related discipline
Senior experience in IT or data project management, functional analysis or systems analysis, including end-to-end delivery from discovery through transition and support
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working with global stakeholders, suppliers, business functions and technical teams
Practical knowledge of cloud data ecosystems, data lakes, data integration, data quality, metadata, interfaces, reporting and analytical consumption
Experience working in regulated or GxP environments, with attention to validation, audit trail, traceability and compliant documentation
High autonomy, ownership and the ability to operate effectively with limited supervision
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to structure complex or ambiguous information
Clear written, verbal and executive communication, adapted to technical and business audiences
Disciplined organisation, documentation and follow-up, with a strong focus on decisions and delivery
Familiarity with BI Dataland or equivalent enterprise data platforms is desirable
Professional working English. German or Spanish is an additional asset depending on stakeholder needs
GDTS Cloud use cases are clearly defined, prioritised and traceable
Decisions concerning data, interfaces, models, reporting and ownership are documented and approved by the relevant stakeholders
Teams work with a common structure for priorities, actions, risks and dependencies
Deliverables support scalable,
reusable and governed cloud solutions aligned with the BI Dataland ecosystem
Executive communication remains clear, concise and supported by disciplined documentation
