In this hybrid leadership role at Roche Diagnostics Solutions, you will shape the user interfaces and dashboards that power ML and data science teams. You translate complex bioinformatics and sequencing data into fast, scalable web applications, driving architectural decisions for enterprise tools deployed on AWS. You mentor fellow frontend engineers and maintain a cohesive UI ecosystem with the R-Design System, collaborating in an Agile environment. This role supports accelerated scientific discovery and personalized healthcare by delivering high-performance visual analytics.
Responsabilidades
Bridge UX, Frontend, and Backend teams to drive architecture and API design (REST/GraphQL)
Lead end-to-end frontend implementation of enterprise-scale applications on AWS
Mentor junior frontend engineers to uphold code quality and technical excellence
Own user experience for complex data tools for data scientists and researchers




Champion and expand the internal R-Design System for visual consistency
Collaborate in an Agile/SCRUM setting to map user journeys and interface requirements
Build scalable, responsive frontends with Vue.js and Tailwind CSS
Architect high-performance data visualizations rendering millions of data points with D3.js
Interface with AWS cloud services and shape backend interface requirements
Requisitos principales
5+ years of hands-on software development with modern JavaScript MVC frameworks, especially xqbhyrx Vue.js
Strong experience with D3.js and optimizing browser performance for large datasets
HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Tailwind CSS
Experience in large, globally distributed enterprise environments (preferred in life sciences or pharma/MedTech)
Experience driving technical decisions in Agile/SCRUM and working with API standards (REST or GraphQL)
