As a Video Editor at Preply, you will shape long-form YouTube narratives from shoots and interviews into clear, engaging stories. You’ll lead editing from brief to locked cut, aligning with brand and creative direction while managing audio, color, and motion graphics through a collaborative studio. This role sits at the heart of the Creative Studio, partnering with cinematography, motion design, and marketing to produce content that supports learners and tutors at scale. You’ll work independently, apply AI-enabled workflows to speed processes, and deliver polished masters ready for publishing. Responsabilidades
Edit medium and long-form YouTube videos (5+ to 10+ minutes) from raw footage into cohesive stories
Own end-to-end workflow from brief to final cut, including structure, selects, music, and pacing
Execute full audio post, including dialogue clean-up, leveling, music selection, and sound design




Conduct color correction and grading across mixed-source footage for on-brand consistency
Apply and lightly customize motion templates (lower thirds, captions, overlays) in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro
Deliver masters to specification (codecs, aspect ratios, captions, timestamps) and organize handoffs
Maintain project organization so others can continue work seamlessly
Collaborate with cinematographer, motion designers, and localization team across review rounds
Requisitos principales
7+ years of experience with a strong portfolio of long-form content (10+ minutes)
Strong narrative editing: ability to shape structure and pacing with minimal oversight
Solid audio post skills: dialogue editing, music selection, xqbhyrx basic sound design, mixing to specs
Experience integrating AI tools into editing workflow
Proficiency in color correction with LUTs/presets across varied sources
Experience applying motion graphic templates in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro; motion design or animation a plus
Fluent in Premiere Pro as primary editing tool
Organized, detail-oriented with solid file management
Strong communication and autonomous work style aligned with brand direction
Familiarity with YouTube long-form conventions is a plus
