As an Engineering Manager in the Buyer Tribe, you lead teams to deliver high-quality software on predictable schedules while fostering growth and collaboration. You provide vision, align goals with the company mission, and optimize engineering processes and culture. You’ll coach engineers, handle performance conversations, and support career development. This role places you at the heart of Wallapop’s scalable product ecosystem, helping to drive a meaningful transformation in the 2nd-hand marketplace.

Responsabilidades
Lead topic-team engineering efforts to ship reliable software on predictable timelines
Ensure effective and productive meetings and standups
Coach individuals and the broader organization for growth
Provide vision, purpose, and visibility to teams
Implement and iterate on engineering process improvements
Conduct regular one-on-ones, set expectations, and manage performance reviews
Develop a two-way feedback loop with engineers and stakeholders
Support engineers in overcoming challenges and enable career development conversations
Participate in hiring and onboarding of engineers
Contribute to the evolution of technical culture and practices
Requisitos principales
Experience leading engineering teams xqbhyrx (2+ years)
Strong verbal English communication; Spanish is a plus
Comfort with participatory management / servant leadership
Positive attitude, problem-solving and critical thinking
Quality-driven mindset, attention to detail, pragmatism
Excellent communication, adaptability, and willingness to learn
